Meet Dr. Jolyn Su

Born and raised in Bellevue, Dr. Su is thrilled to serve her hometown with personalized dental care and holistic solutions at Smile Wellness Co. With her commitment to integrative wellness, Dr. Su believes that dentistry should not only boost a patient's smile but their entire health as well. 

Dr. Su received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 2005, graduating at the top of her class. She’s a biological dentist with the IAOMT and is certified in safe mercury amalgam removal of fillings. Dr. Su believes in combining alternative, holistic treatments with conventional procedures. An additional passion is a focus on learning comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry. Having trained extensively with Kois, DSD (Digital Smile Design), Spear, and a variety of other programs, Dr. Su continues to hone her dental expertise and provide patients with truly cutting-edge care. 

When she isn’t serving her patients, Dr. Su enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Ava and Emerson. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, you can find Dr. Su camping, hiking, and logging in many miles as a runner on the Cougar Mountain trails. No matter your dental or whole-body health needs, Dr. Su is here to help with tailored guidance and conservative solutions. She can’t wait to meet you and give you the smile care you deserve!

Raymond is a native Washingtonian and has lived in the Seattle area for 25 years. He has been in the dental industry for over 20 years, spending the majority of those years as a hygienist in our practice. He enjoys connecting with patients and collaborating with the rest of our dental team to provide the highest level of care. In his spare time, he enjoys working on cars, cooking, watching movies, going for walks, and traveling with his wife and daughter.

Mercy is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 30 years of experience in the dental industry. Her passion lies at the intersection of oral health and whole-body wellness, with a special interest in saliva research and its powerful connection to overall health. She believes dentistry plays a vital role in helping patients achieve not only healthy smiles, but healthier lives. She is dedicated to educating and supporting patients so they feel confi dent, cared for, and supported in their whole health journey. A Seattle native, Mercy cherishes time spent with her family. Outside the offi ce, she enjoys life with her husband Chris, their son Colton, and their fur babies. Whether playing outdoors, soaking up the sun in Hawaii or embracing the beauty of the Pacifi c Northwest, she loves it all—especially the Seattle rain and the joy of splashing in puddles whenever possible.

Carlena brings over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including elite spas, medical spas, and a naturopathic medical clinic. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and maintaining exceptional standards of service in fast-paced, patient-focused environments. While she is new to the dental field, Carlena brings a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and a genuine dedication to supporting clinical operations and ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and well-coordinated experience for every patient. In her free time, Carlena enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves animals and has a cat and a dog of her own.

Transitioning to Holistic dentistry has aligned with her own journey in mind, body, and spirit and she appreciates this unique approach and consideration in patient care. Professional communication, having everyday conversations with patients and helping alongside their dental health journey have been rewarding parts of her career. Mary lives in West Seattle with her husband and two senior rescue dogs, Missy Moo and Barney-Carlos. When not at work she enjoys traveling, cooking, writing, Pilates and collecting art.

Safe mercury filling Removal

Dr. Su has received her certification in the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).  Because removing amalgam fillings can release additional mercury vapor, safe removal is essential.
